Big Suprise: Billions of US Dollars spent in Iraq are completely unaccounted for. Wouldn't it be great to say the same for money spent on the public education of urban youth or mass transit?
Ultimately, private companies working in Iraq such as Bechtel, Haliburton (Cheney), KBR (Kellogg Brown & Root), have been the big winners in this scandal. Perhaps the most controversial of these companies is Blackwater USA--a private military company run by Christian conservative, Eric Prince.
