To post a video on google for all the world to see, all you need is:
1.) a gmail account and
2.) a video to post.
Make a video or take one from somewhere else. In this example I've taken a video called "San Francisco" from Archive.org.

As noted on archive.org, this file is part of Creative Commons. This means that the file "San Francisco 1939" is a piece of media that exists within the public domain. As stated on the website http://creativecommons.org/licenses/publicdomain/, "the Work may be freely reproduced, distributed, transmitted, used, modified, built upon, or otherwise exploited by anyone for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial, and in any way, including by methods that have not yet been invented or conceived." For this reason, we don't need to take any precautions regarding copyright infringement when downloading or re-posting the file onto google. Should we care anyway?
Now that we have the file, open your gmail account and find the "upload video" section of your account. Select "browse" and find your movie. Fill in the fields, upload and that is it (uploading can take a while). Share the link with your friends.
Watch the video here:

Pretty simple, isn't it.
